A board certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants since 2012. Amanda graduated from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona with her Master of Medical Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Amanda has prior clinical experience in allergy and immunology, as well as trauma/emergency medicine and also has previous experience in allergy and asthma research. She is currently President of the National Association of Physician Assistants in Allergy. She serves as the Medical Liaison to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. She also is on the Allied Health Education Committee of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Amanda is also a Certified Asthma Educator, certified by the National Asthma Education Certification Board. She speaks at many state, regional and national conferences on various topics including asthma, eczema and food allergy and is a published author in the field. She is currently completing her Doctorate of Medical Science degree. A former college ice hockey player, she enjoys coaching youth hockey in her spare time as well as trail running and hiking.
